I want to call your attention to one of the more noteworthy qualities of Source energy (or the name you use to refer to a power that is greater than the resources of your mind).
Source energy is a dynamic force that we interact with… it is the energetic aspect of who we are, it lives in both the seen and unseen worlds simultaneously, it continues to live after our physical body dies.

You are a unique reflection of Source energy as is everyone else and all living things...
Regardless of whether or not you believe this to be true, we are all in relationship with Source energy to a lesser or greater extent. Yet many people are not conscious of it, in conflict about it, perplexed by it, or unaware of its personal significance.

You are intended to have a personal relationship with Source energy…
You are also intended to have a conscious experience of this relational dynamic with Source energy.
You decide what kind of relationship you want to have with Source energy. Do you want to be close with Source energy and live in partnership with it? Do you want to continue to deny that Source energy exist? Do you want to remain estranged? Do you want an antagonistic relationship? Do you want a superficial relationship? This is your choice….

Although it is true that you may never fully comprehend Source energy, you can become increasingly aware of the workings of Source energy in your daily life…

The more you develop your intuition (the voice of Source energy within) the closer you’ll feel to your Soul ( a name I use to refer to Source energy in yourself). You develop your intuition by feeling into your life versus primarily thinking your way through life.

Whenever you listen to and follow the guidance and promptings from your Soul the results will always be advantageous-no exceptions! You can prove this to your mind / ego every time you listen to and follow your Soul’s guidance/ directives, and pay close attention to the results.

You will know when your Soul is speaking to you because the guidance being offered will energize your physical body and your mind will feel relieved. The information being offered will feel “right.”

Many people speak about the importance and necessity of Trusting and Surrendering as a means to deepen in their relationship with their Soul ( a term used to refer to our spiritual self or Source energy within ourselves) but often fall short of actually integrating these practices into their behaviors.

The expression “Let your will not my will be done” is commonly used by people who truly want to have their Soul lead their lives.

Although their prayers are sincere, many people are unaware that their desire to follow their Soul’s guidance and directives is often accompanied by a list of contingencies. Which sounds something like “I will follow your guidance and directives ‘Soul/ Source energy’ but don’t ask me to make a geographic move, change careers, leave a relationship, etc. When you give Source energy contingencies you’re not allowing it to lead your life.

Many people do not understand that our Soul always has our best interests in the forefront. Your Soul wants your human self to feel deeply loved, comforted, assured that all is well, that you are not alone in the universe, satisfied and nurtured in every aspect of your life. Also, Source energy is here to complete its soul mission or calling in life and it requires your human self to be its hands and feet!

From the perspective of Living in Alignment, Trust equates to yielding to your Soul and Surrender equates to merging with your Soul. When you’re listening to your Soul’s guidance you’re yielding and when you’re following your Soul’s guidance/promptings you’re merging with your Soul. Living in Alignment occurs when you are listening to and following the guidance/ promptings that Source energy continually provides.

In real time, Trusting and Surrendering to Source energy is about training your mind to defer to Source energy-to have this vital energy be in the proverbial driver’s seat.
To “Let go and let God” will require that your mind learns how to Trust & Surrender.

In your daily life, Trust and Surrender translates to getting/ keeping your mind out of the drivers seat. Instead of trying to control the outcome of what is happening in your life, your task is to calm your body and quiet your mind so you can hear your inner voice/ intuition (the voice of your Soul or Source energy within).

Instead of becoming hypervigilant about looking for the answers to your prayers. You go about living your life with the mindset that the answers to your prayers are always forthcoming. Knowing that Source energy is working behind the scenes to orchestra the best possible outcome for everything that is happening in your life. Trusting & Surrendering is about handing over the reigns to Source energy. The information that your mind requires to feel assured that all is well shall be revealed on an as needed basis. Again, your task is to stop trying to control outcomes and to move out of living in fear.

Developing the practice of being present in your daily activities will assist your mind to connect with and become aware of the workings of Source energy in your life. With increased awareness, your mind will gain the proof it needs to acknowledge that your Soul is more qualified, more skilled, more experienced to be in the driver’s seat than your mind/ ego.

As your awareness of the workings of Source energy increases, your mind will become assured that Living in Alignment is a practical, effective, and reliable approach to living life…

As expanded upon in a previous entry, Living in Alignment is more than an intellectual construct to be understood/ considered, Living in Alignment is a way of life!

From the perspective of the Living in Alignment Model, not only is Living in Alignment a viable option to live your life, you are intended to be having a conscious experience of Living in Alignment...

Indeed, wise men and women from many traditions and spiritual paths have espoused the merits of Living in Alignment ever since humankind began seeking truths to their existential questions.

A focus of the Living in Alignment approach is to assist you to identify your beliefs, perceptions, expectations, and attitudes about Source energy (or whatever name you use to refer to a power that is greater than the resources of your mind). This is to determine how your personal life philosophy or conditioning is getting in your way of Living in Alignment, sabotaging your best intentions, living up to your full potential and or experiencing freedom to be. In turn, the conditioning that you deem to be limiting or faulty can be modified and or replaced with concepts that expand your mind and open your heart to yourself, to others, to Source energy, to living your life.
